sFTP Configuration

This setup allows ThankYou Analytics to automatically send your data to your sFTP server as files.

Once it’s configured, you’ll be able to enable automatic exports from the ThankYou app — check out our dedicated guide to learn more.

Before setting this up, make sure you have access to your sFTP server and the required credentials.

The setup consists of 1 step and takes approximately 2 minutes.

Providing your sFTP connection details

To export data to your sFTP server, you need to provide valid connection credentials.

Option 1 – Username and password

Provide the following information:

• Host (server domain or IP address)
  Example: sftp.yourdomain.com

• Port (default: 22)

• Username

• Password

Option 2 – Username and SSH key

Provide the following information:

• Host (server domain or IP address)

• Port (default: 22)

• Username

• SSH private key file

The private key must:

• Match a public key configured on your sFTP server

• Use one of the following file formats: .pem or .key

 Setup Complete

Once the connection is successful, go to the Automatic exports section of the ThankYou Analytics app to select the data to export and enable your sFTP export.

Important information
- Make sure your sFTP user has write permissions on the target directory
- Ensure your server is accessible from external connections
- Incorrect credentials or firewall restrictions may prevent the connection
